Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to support Building Automation Systems for customers in the Fort Bragg, NC area. The role focuses on diagnosing complex issues, installing and tuning BAS, and maintaining system uptime across multiple facilities.

You will work under the Field Service Supervisor, perform preventive maintenance, document service records, and coordinate travel to customer sites as required. A technical degree and relevant certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience installing, programming, maintaining and troubleshooting Building Automation Systems and their associated communication protocols.
• An understanding of building codes, and industry standards.
• A valid driver’s license (REAL ID)
• The ability to meet the background check requirements for federal projects and be able to obtain a Security Clearance due to contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex issues for Building Automation Systems.
• Install, configure, commission, and tune Building Automation Systems to meet customer specifications and job requirements.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and codes to support Building Automation system design, installation and integration.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of Building Automation Systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records for compliance and reporting.
• Travel to customer sites off post as needed, managing your own travel arrangements, site coordination, and reporting.
