Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Advanced Field Service Technician, BAS, to lead installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of Building Automation Systems in Duluth, GA. You will mentor technicians, resolve complex BAS issues, coordinate with customers and cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality service delivery with a strong safety focus.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in BAS field service and deep knowledge of BAS platforms, networks, and fire/life safety integration.

Qualifications

5+ years in field service, installation, commissioning, maintenance, or troubleshooting of Building Automation Systems or related building technologies.
Strong BAS installation, programming, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting including integrated building systems.
Experience troubleshooting complex control systems, network communications, controllers, sensors, actuators, and building system interfaces.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, system architectures, and sequences of operation.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical problems, implement corrective actions, and support escalated service issues.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with ability to explain technical issues to customers and stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site in the field and follow safety procedures and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute advanced installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and optimization of BAS and related building technologies.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving BAS controllers, networks, software, field devices, HVAC interfaces, and life safety systems.
Provide advanced technical guidance and on-the-job support to field technicians.
Configure, test, and commission BAS to ensure proper operation and integration.
Support BAS integration with fire/life safety and other building systems.
Interpret drawings and sequences to resolve field challenges.
Conduct advanced system testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
Collaborate with management, engineering, and customers to coordinate service activities.
Maintain accurate service documentation and commissioning records.
Promote safety culture and regulatory compliance.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Support customer training and provide technical recommendations.
