Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations on assigned shifts, coach teammates, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will support opening/closing, cash handling, and daily reporting while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards.

Ideal candidates have prior supervisory or food-service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, retail, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand
