DiBella’s Subs in Pittsburgh is seeking a Lead Baker to start early mornings and bake our signature Italian bread to the DiBella’s standard. The role includes providing friendly customer service while preparing and serving food products and handling shift duties.

The position offers a 5-day Mon-Fri schedule with competitive pay, weekly tips, potential for advancement, and benefits for full-time staff. A strong emphasis on cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health regulations is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret the baking manual.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, balance friendliness with efficiency, and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsabilités

• Bake the best bread using the procedures in the Bread Manual.
• Follow location par list for daily bake amounts.
• Keep bakery clean and report equipment deficiencies.
• Use safety equipment to ensure crew and guest safety.
• Prepare and serve menu items according to portion guidelines.
• Set up and display deli items and ingredients.
• Prepare hot and cold sandwiches on customer request.
• Maintain cleanliness of grills, counters and storage areas.
• Work at a pace to handle heavy rushes and fulfill shift duties.
• Ensure health standards compliance and participate in ongoing product knowledge.
