Job summary

DiBella’s Old Fashioned Submarines, LLC is seeking a Lead Baker to start early mornings and bake our signature Italian bread daily. The role requires punctuality, dependable transportation, and a can do attitude while delivering friendly customer service and fresh baked products.

Responsibilities include baking per the DiBella’s Bread Manual, keeping the bakery clean, serving menu items, and assisting guests. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret the baking manual.
• Prioritize tasks, multi-task, and balance friendliness with efficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Bake the best bread possible using the procedures in the DiBella’s Bread Manual.
• Follow the locations par list for the amount to bake daily.
• Keep the bakery clean and organized and report equipment deficiencies.
• Utilize safety equipment to ensure crew and guest safety.
• Prepare and serve menu items according to portion guidelines.
• Set up deli products and wrap paper, cheeses, meats, breads, sauces.
• Prepare hot and cold sandwiches at customer request.
• Display excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of grills, deli counter, sinks, and storage areas.
• Develop a work pace to handle heavy rushes and fulfill shift duties.
