Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on hardware engineering professional to drive avionics product development for Lunar Vehicles, including flight computers and embedded controllers. You will own hardware elements from requirements through sustainment and work directly with manufacturers to ensure flight‑quality hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in avionics/electronic hardware or high‑reliability hardware development.
• Experience leading significant portions of hardware development lifecycle.
• Experience with digital, analog, or mixed‑signal hardware design and packaging.
• Strong troubleshooting with test equipment and root‑cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own development and delivery of avionics hardware products across lifecycle.
• Drive decisions, interface definitions, trade studies and architecture for avionics hardware.
• Plan and execute hardware integration, verification, qualification, and testing; troubleshoot anomalies.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers for PCB assembly, box build, inspection, and producibility improvements.
• Lead cross‑functional resolution of design, interface, build, and test issues with multiple teams.
