Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Manager for Avionics Hardware Engineering in the Lunar Permanence program. Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for flight computers, I/O units, embedded controllers, and ruggedized hardware for lunar landers.

Drive vision, standards, and lifecycle support to ensure safe, reliable spaceflight and program success. You will guide cross-functional groups spanning electrical, PCB, mechanical packaging, embedded software, FPGA development, and controls from

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years in avionics/electrical hardware or high-reliability hardware environments.
5+ years of people-leadership experience with hiring and performance management.
U.S. citizen or eligible for U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

Lead avionics hardware engineering for Lunar Landers, including flight computers and I/O units.
Set technical vision, staffing, roadmaps, processes, and standards for current and future programs.
Coordinate across electrical, PCB, mechanical, embedded software, FPGA, and controls teams through development lifecycle.
Partner with systems engineering, program management, manufacturing, and quality to manage risks and ensure mission success.
