Job summary

Brentwood School is seeking a full-time Lead AV Events & Classroom Technology Specialist to manage end-to-end technical lifecycle for on-campus events and provide classroom display support.

The role emphasizes live production, audio engineering, lighting, and streaming, with additional duties maintaining classroom Smartboards and casting workflows. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in live event AV production, sound engineering, and display technology support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Media Production, Communications, or related technical discipline preferred (or equivalent certifications).
• Proficiency with audio signal flow, mic placement, and live digital mixing boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead live production for events: setup, execution, and strike for assemblies, athletic events, board meetings, and guest lectures.
• Operate audio consoles, manage wireless mics, and ensure clear, feedback-free audio for multi-speaker setups.
• Control stage lighting and projection; run projectors and LED walls; broadcast/stream events to platforms like YouTube Live or Zoom.
• Collaborate with organizers to map technical run-of-shows and ensure seamless operations.
