Job summary

Shoreline Community College is seeking a Media Technician Supervisor to lead the Audio-Visual production for campus events, executive meetings, and hybrid programs. This role coordinates with internal teams and rental clients to deliver high-quality AV support for livestreams, recordings, and campus meetings.

The position reports to the Director of Conferences, Events, and Continuing Education, and contributes to revenue generation through campus partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience as a senior media technician or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of ADA Title II, FERPA, and copyright laws as they apply to instructional media.
• Experience with live media and event tech including multichannel audio/video mixing boards.
• Familiarity with digital media software and AV equipment like AMX, Q-sys, and Dante.
• Experience with lecture capture and recording software such as Panopto.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop an effective AV team for campus and rental client support.
• Lead and coordinate AV production for live streams, web conferencing, and campus meetings.
• Provide backup support for theatre stage management and operations.
• Collaborate with college partners and rental clients to deliver quality AV services.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned.
