Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of automotive diagnostic, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 4+ ASE certifications preferred (A4 Steering and Suspension & A5 Brakes, plus 2 from A1/A6/A7/A8/L1).
• Section 609 certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, suspension, electrical, exhaust, and engine systems.
• Perform duties of lower Technician levels as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and colleagues clearly.
• Pursue ongoing technical training to stay current with automotive tech.
• Assist fellow technicians in completing technical tasks.
• Keep management informed of mechanical repair issues as they occur.
