Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, guide a team, and improve customer care and satisfaction. You will work on brakes, suspension, ignition, A/C, and computer systems in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, explaining repairs to customers, and pursuing ASE certifications while staying current with evolving automotive technology. A strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver_s license at all times
• Able to read/interpret technical information and manuals
• Competent in diagnosing brake, suspension and electrical systems
• Capable of mentoring other technicians and communicating with customers

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities
• Maintain ASE certifications within first two years
