Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentoring a team to improve customer care. You will diagnose, repair, and explain technical issues, while staying current with evolving automotive tech through training and ASE certifications.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model with a clear path to earnings and opportunities for ASE certification support, starting with comprehensive onboarding and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• 5 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a Vocational-Technical School Program.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1–A8 (L1 can count as one of the three).
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and more).
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanics clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training and ASE certifications.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities and aim for high customer satisfaction.
