Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team toward outstanding customer care. This role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and maintaining high repair quality in a dynamic shop environment.

The position requires hands-on automotive expertise, ASE certification progression, and commitment to Bridgestone’s standards of service. A strong safety and certification mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Proficient in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in multiple A.S.E. areas within two years.
