Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and ensure high-quality customer care. The role emphasizes mentoring, safety, and continuous learning with formal training included.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, electrical, and suspension systems, and obtaining ASE certifications. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are required; a competitive, regionally adjusted pay model is used.

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver's license at all times; ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Brakes diagnosis/repair skills.
• Alignment/steering/suspension diagnosis and repair.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair knowledge.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology via formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue A.S.E. certifications (five of A1–A8) within two years; test fees paid by company; bonuses for tests passed.
