Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is looking for a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role rewards expertise with a flat-rate pay structure and ongoing training opportunities.

You will diagnose and repair a broad range of systems, mentor teammates, and pursue ASE certifications within two years, while staying current with evolving automotive technology in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1–A8 (L1 can be one of the three) – Brakes and Steering & Suspension preferred.
• 5 years of automotive repair experience, demonstrated via third party assessments/certifications, or completion of Vocational-Technical School Program.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
