Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is looking for a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability, electrical systems and related components while guiding a team to maximize customer care. The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced auto care environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of automotive repair experience, or completion of a Vocational-Technical School Program.
• A.S.E. certification in at least 3 of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the three).
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers in clear terms.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years.
