Job summary

Auto Plus is seeking an experienced Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a shop team to deliver excellent customer care and satisfaction.

The role requires 3+ years of automotive repair experience, high school diploma or GED, and ASE certifications with a Section 609 certification. Expect interaction with customers, mentoring teammates, and ongoing training to stay up-to-date on technology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
• 4+ ASE certifications preferred (A4, A5 + 2 from list).
• Section 609 certification required; State Inspection license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff clearly.
• Mentor other technicians and maintain an organized shop.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies; support management.
• Stay current with automotive technology through training.
