Job summary

Auto Plus is seeking a Technician to professionally inspect, diagnose and repair tire and automotive services while delivering excellent customer experience. You will explain technical diagnoses to customers and coworkers, stay updated with evolving automotive tech, and mentor teammates as needed.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of experience, ASE certifications preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ ASE certifications are preferred (A4 Steering and Suspension & A5 Brakes).
• Section 609 certification is preferred.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake and hydraulic, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling system, suspension and alignment.
• Perform duties of all lower job descriptions (Mechanic and General Service Technician).
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions.
