Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive diagnostic, problem-solving and repair experience.
• High level of motivation, energy and customer-focused attitude.
• ASE certifications 4+ preferred (A4, A5, plus 2 from A1, A6, A7, A8, L1)
• Section 609 certification required
• State Inspection license if applicable
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications in brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and employees.
• Mentor and lead technicians to improve customer care and satisfaction.
• Stay current with automotive technology through formal training.
• Maintain an organized and safe shop and communicate issues to management.
• Assist fellow technicians and maintain shop efficiency.
• Adhere to company policies and safety rules.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

ASE certifications (4+ preferred)

Section 609 certification

State Inspection license

Valid driver's license
