The role oversees daily service operations with Advisors and Technicians, ensuring clear communication, efficient workflow, and timely, quality repairs. The ideal candidate has automotive service leadership experience, preferably from a dealership, and can coach staff while managing performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in automotive service, preferably in a dealership.
• Understanding of service operations, repair workflows, and dept financials.
• Ability to coach, address concerns, and drive accountability.
• Strong organizational skills and sound prioritization.
• Customer-focused approach that builds trust through clear communication.
• Familiarity with dealership systems and performance reporting.
• GMC/GM service experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily service operations with Service Advisors and Technicians.
• Lead, coach, and hold the service team accountable for performance and customer care.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and workflow for timely repairs.
• Help Advisors communicate repair recommendations, estimates, and updates clearly.
• Monitor department performance: productivity, efficiency, profitability, and satisfaction.
• Address customer concerns with professionalism and follow-through.
• Partner with Parts to keep work moving and resolve delays.
• Support accurate repair orders, warranty docs, and manufacturer requirements.
• Identify training needs and help team strengthen skills.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations.
• Maintain a safe, organized department and seek improvements.
