Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service operations with Advisors and Technicians to deliver quality repairs and clear communication.
• Lead, coach, and hold the service team accountable for performance and customer care.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and workflow to support timely repairs.
• Help Advisors communicate repair recommendations, estimates, and updates clearly.
• Monitor department performance, including productivity and profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Address customer concerns professionally and with follow-through.
• Coordinate with Parts to keep work moving and resolve delays.
• Ensure accurate repair orders, warranty documentation, and compliance with manufacturer requirements.
• Identify training needs and help team members strengthen skills.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations.
• Maintain a safe, organized department and seek operational improvements.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll oversee daily service operations, working with Service Advisors and Technicians to deliver quality repairs, clear communication, and a positive customer experience.
• Lead, coach, and hold the service team accountable for performance and customer care.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and workflow to support timely, quality repairs.
• Help Service Advisors communicate repair recommendations, estimates, and updates clearly.
• Monitor department performance, including productivity, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Address customer concerns with professionalism and follow-through.
• Partner with the Parts Department to keep work moving and resolve delays.
• Support accurate repair orders, warranty documentation, and compliance with manufacturer requirements.
• Identify training needs and help team members strengthen their skills.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations.
• Maintain a safe, organized department and look for practical ways to improve operations.

What You Bring

• Automotive service leadership experience, with dealership experience preferred.
• A working understanding of service operations, repair workflows, and department financial performance.
• The ability to coach employees, address concerns directly, and build team accountability.
• Strong organization and sound judgment when priorities compete.
• A customer-focused approach that builds trust through clear communication.
• Comfort using dealership systems and performance reports to guide decisions.
• GMC or General Motors service experience is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

• Annual compensation: $80,000-$140,000 (based on experience and performance)
• Employment type: Full-time, on-site
• Location: Forest Lake, Minnesota
