Job summary

You will oversee daily service operations with Advisors and Technicians, coach staff, manage scheduling, and drive performance while maintaining a safe, compliant shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an automotive service team, preferably in a dealership setting.
• Understanding of service operations, repair workflows, and department financial performance.
• Ability to coach employees, address concerns directly, and build accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service operations with Service Advisors and Technicians to deliver quality repairs and a positive customer experience.
• Lead, coach, and hold the service team accountable for performance and customer care.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and workflow to support timely, quality repairs.
• Communicate repair recommendations, estimates, and updates clearly.
• Monitor department performance: productivity, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Parts to keep work moving and resolve delays.
• Ensure accurate repair orders, warranty documentation, and compliance with manufacturer requirements.
• Identify training needs and help team members strengthen their skills.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations.
