Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Maumelle, AR seeks an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department, set high standards, and coach a motivated team.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will oversee technicians, scheduling, customer interactions, parts management, safety, and compliance with company procedures. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a Service Manager role and a proven track record of exceeding objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in recruiting and final employment decisions in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Supervise technicians and service personnel; schedule duties and monitor completion.
• Coach team on operations and ISI systems and service standards.
• Engage with customers regarding sales, service, opportunities, and adjustments.
• Evaluate performance and productivity of service department staff.
• Manage parts inventory and outside purchases; ensure compliance with Tire Purchase Program and restock as needed.
• Ensure store safety and proper use of safety equipment.
• Oversee equipment layout and shop area; ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Coach personnel on wheel torqueing processes and ensure proper inspections.
