Qualifications

• Experience supervising production in a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive manufacturing background preferred, ideally Tier 1.
• Experience managing multiple lines in high-volume settings.
• Background in metal stamping or automotive structural components is desirable.
• Union environment experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines during 2nd/3rd shift.
• Lead, train, and develop employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing levels, and equipment performance to meet customer demands.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Monitor production metrics including efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
