Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions seeks an experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisor for a Tier 1 automotive facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The role oversees second and third shift operations across multiple lines, driving safety, quality, and productivity with a hands-on leadership style.

The ideal candidate will have automotive manufacturing experience, strong leadership abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple production lines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production in a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple production lines in a high-volume facility.
• Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components desirable.
• Experience working in a union environment is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations across multiple lines during 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Lead, train, and develop production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor production schedules, staffing levels, and equipment performance to meet customer demands.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate production updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
