Job summary

KBR is seeking a Direct Line Supervisor (Contingency) to lead automotive maintenance and sustainment teams under TACOM. This role focuses on safe, efficient, and compliant task execution while driving readiness and minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in automotive, maintenance, industrial, or logistics environments.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of assigned personnel, including Automotive Workers and related staff.
• Assign daily work tasks and prioritize workload to meet mission and schedule requirements.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to work standards.
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of assigned personnel.
• Enforce workplace conduct, safety, and compliance standards.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and sustainment activities to ensure compliance with Army TMs, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Conduct job site observations and ensure proper use of tools and PPE.
• Support quality inspections and corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between workforce and program leadership.
• Provide daily or periodic status updates on work progress.
