Job summary

KBR, under the TACOM program, seeks a Direct Line Supervisor to lead automotive maintenance and sustainment teams. You will drive readiness by supervising daily tasks, ensuring safety, and coordinating with program leadership to meet schedules.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of supervisory experience in automotive or logistics settings and a strong focus on compliance and documentation to support audits and readiness goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supplemental technical or vocational training preferred.
• Typically 5+ years of supervisory experience in an automotive, maintenance, industrial, or logistics environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead teams in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of assigned personnel, including Automotive Workers and related staff.
• Assign daily work tasks and prioritize workload to meet mission and schedule requirements.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to work standards.
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of assigned personnel.
• Enforce workplace conduct, safety, and compliance standards.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and sustainment activities in line with Army TMs, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Conduct job site observations and ensure proper use of tools and PPE.
• Support quality inspections and corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the workforce and program leadership.
• Provide daily or periodic status updates on work progress and personnel issues.
