Job summary

KBR, Inc. is recruiting for a Direct Line Supervisor to lead maintenance and sustainment teams supporting TACOM-managed systems.

You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant daily work, coordinate with maintenance leads, quality personnel, and program management to meet readiness goals, and minimize downtime and rework. The role requires supervising personnel in automotive maintenance environments and maintaining clear communications with leadership to drive mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of supervisory experience in automotive, maintenance, or logistics.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience with safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of assigned personnel, including Automotive Workers and related staff.
• Assign daily work tasks and prioritize workload to meet mission and schedule requirements.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to work standards.
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of assigned personnel.
• Enforce workplace conduct, safety, and compliance standards.
• Oversee execution of maintenance, repair, and sustainment activities to ensure work is performed in accordance with Army TMs, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Conduct job site observations and ensure proper use of tools and PPE.
• Support quality inspections and corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the workforce and program leadership.
• Provide daily or periodic status updates on work progress and personnel issues.
• Support audits, inspections, and government reviews as required.
