Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Georgia is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to develop and manage robotics projects across our manufacturing facilities. You will provide remote support and troubleshoot systems at two sites, and help maintain disaster recovery plans for critical automation hardware and software.

You will lead field changes, upgrades, and new equipment implementations, serving as the automation lead on large capital projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
10+ years in PLC programming and automation.
Experience managing electrical and automation projects.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and implement robotics projects across manufacturing facilities
Provide remote assistance and troubleshooting for two manufacturing facilities
Maintain remote troubleshooting hardware and software at each location and create backups and disaster recovery plans
Provide field assistance in periodic automation changes and tune-ups
Complete automation projects regarding upgrades and new equipment
Serve as Automation lead on large capital projects
