Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. in the Atlanta area seeks a seasoned Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Collaboration across Maintenance, Toolroom, and Engineering is essential to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime. The role involves designing modifications, leading projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V to 480V.
• Lead projects with internal teams and external vendors, coordinating timelines and requirements.
• Provide controls engineering expertise including design, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare reports and documentation for FAT, safety, and energy optimization.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and OHSA standards.
