Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Auditor for the AML/Fraud and Ethics Audit team in a hybrid role, focusing on BSA/AML, Sanctions, and Fraud Compliance audits across business units. The role requires risk assessment, testing, and reporting to management, with emphasis on independence, quality and leveraging data analytics.

4+ years in auditing and related certifications are preferred. Location includes Richmond, VA with three days per week in-office; salary ranges vary by site and are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 4 year of experience in auditing, Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud or Sanctions, or a combination.

Responsibilities

• Participate in major components of business units and lead BSA/AML, Sanctions, and Fraud Compliance audits.
• Perform risk assessments of business activities and testing based on risks.
• Communicate issues, risks and recommendations to management.
• Operate independently to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Develop relationships with key business partners and Audit group.
• Leverage data analytics during planning and fieldwork.
• Follow up on audit actions to ensure timely remediation.
• Seek learning opportunities to enhance skills.
