AV-Worx, a Security 101 company, is seeking a Lead Audio Visual Installation Technician to join our growing Florida team in West Palm Beach. You will oversee installations from start to finish, lead technicians in the field, and collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality AV systems on time and safely.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of commercial AV integration experience, strong leadership capabilities, and hands-on expertise with video walls, DSPs, and conferencing tech.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of commercial Audio-Visual integration experience.
• Experience leading AV installation projects and supervising technicians.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of commercial AV installation practices and standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation and integration of commercial AV systems with minimal supervision while ensuring projects are completed safely and according to company standards.
• Lead commercial AV projects from installation through final completion.
• Review project documentation, statements of work, and bill of materials prior to project execution.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, project management, and procurement teams.
• Assign and delegate responsibilities to installation technicians.
• Prepare and configure equipment for installation.
• Install, terminate, label, and test AV cabling infrastructure.
• Install and integrate displays, video walls, projectors, DSPs, microphones, speakers, control systems, cameras, and network equipment.
• Construct and install AV equipment racks.
• Test and verify system functionality to ensure systems are operating at 100%.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation and system issues.

This role is responsible for overseeing installations from start to finish, leading technicians in the field, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum of 4+ years of commercial Audio-Visual integration experience.
• Experience leading AV installation projects and supervising technicians.

AV Worx, a Security 101 company, is a DFWP and EOE organization with a team-oriented work environment. Must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation and a drug-test screening. Must also be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing 50lbs.
