Job summary

Asphaltech Pavement Solutions in Cumberland County, NJ is seeking an experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead field crews and drive high-quality paving and asphalt maintenance projects across South Jersey. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate crews and equipment, and ensure safety and efficiency on active jobsites.

The role emphasizes leadership, plan interpretation, and proactive communication with stakeholders, with a focus on on-site supervision and delivering on-time results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in asphalt operations.
• Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience.
• Knowledge of asphalt equipment operation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; no provisional licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise asphalt crews on active jobsites in the assigned service area.
• Coordinate daily work plans, crew assignments, and jobsite workflow.
• Monitor equipment use, basic maintenance awareness, and safe operation procedures.
• Read and interpret construction plans and communicate scope to the crew.
• Enforce company safety standards and OSHA-conscious jobsite practices.
• Maintain quality control for paving, repairs, and related asphalt work.
• Communicate with managers, crew members, and project stakeholders as needed.
• Help keep projects on schedule and support productive field operations.
