Job summary

Lewis Tree Service is seeking a Crew Leader to oversee utility vegetation management crews, ensuring safe and efficient tree trimming and clearance near energized lines. You will plan tasks, supervise performance, and promote safety on every job.

Qualified candidates bring 3+ years in tree crews, ANSI Z133 & A300 knowledge, and valid CDL/ CPR certifications. The role offers ESOP benefits, paid training, health/dental/vision coverage, and frequent travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in tree crew or utility vegetation management.
• Knowledge of ANSI Z133 safety requirements and A300 pruning standards.
• Ability to identify poisonous plants.
• Proficiency in electrical circuit basics and circuit maps interpretation.
• CPR/First Aid certification (provided by Lewis).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily tree crew operations with safe, efficient work practices.
• Plan and assign tasks based on crew skills and job requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate crew performance; manage training and promotions.
• Maintain updated crew contact info and report availability to Foreman.
• Enforce safety standards and company policies; report incidents promptly.
• Travel frequently, including overnight stays, as required.
