Job summary

Lewis Tree Service is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise utility vegetation management crews, ensuring safe and efficient tree trimming and line clearance for utilities and clients. You will lead daily operations, coach crew members, and enforce safety standards in a dynamic outdoor setting.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication, and cost control, with ongoing training, ESOP benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a tree crew or utility vegetation management.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI Z133 safety requirements and A300 pruning standards.
• CPR and First Aid certification, with Lewis providing certification; valid driver's license and CDL as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily tree crew operations and ensure safe, efficient work practices.
• Plan and assign tasks based on crew skills and job requirements.
• Monitor crew performance and provide training, onboarding, and coaching as needed.
• Maintain accurate crew records and report incidents or equipment issues.
• Travel frequently, including overnight stays, as required.
