Job summary

Technology Partners is seeking a Lead Application Developer to design, develop, and implement changes for end-to-end integrated systems. You will mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, and uphold coding standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The position is hybrid, reporting to the Bridgeton office at least two days per week, with potential for leadership and project management responsibilities. A strong background in C#, ASP, Angular, and SQL Server is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a developer for internet-based systems.
• 3+ years using application development tools, including Visual Studio.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Git/DevOps and TFS.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and full SDLC.
• Knowledge of data privacy practices and applicable laws.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Lead Application Developer within our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing application changes that support business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate user needs and provide innovative technology solutions. You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold coding standards. Additionally, you will stay current on emerging technologies to recommend cost-effective infrastructure improvements. This is a hybrid role reporting to the Bridgeton office a minimum of two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday), with the potential for team mentoring and project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement application features and system enhancements based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve infrastructure flexibility and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience working as a developer with a proven track record of internet-based systems development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with application development tools, including Visual Studio.
• Advanced knowledge of relational database technology, specifically Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience using source control tools such as TFS or DevOps with GIT integrated.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of data privacy practices and applicable laws.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with web application security best practices.
• Leadership exposure or prior team mentoring experience.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, logistics, or related fields.

Pay: $47.60 to $68.00 per hour
