Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Technical Lead in Emerging Technologies to guide a multidisciplinary team through complex software initiatives using .NET Core, Python, RESTful APIs, and cloud services (GCP).

You will design, implement, and mature integrations and applications, mentor engineers, partner with architects, and set standards for cloud architecture, CI/CD, API governance, and secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in technical leadership.
• Strong proficiency with .NET Core / C#, and Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Talend or similar ETL/data integration platforms.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API and Web Services design.
• Relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from inception through deployment.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and mentorship skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

What You Will Be Doing

You will serve as a key technical leader within the Emerging Technologies team, working closely with enterprise architects and cross-functional partners to shape and execute the technical roadmap. You will design, develop, and maintain integrations and applications utilizing current technologies including .NET Core, Python, Talend, and cloud services. Your role will involve leading proof-of-concept initiatives, evaluating emerging frameworks, and establishing best practices around cloud architecture, CI/CD, and API governance. You will also mentor developers and analysts, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable system architectures. This is a hybrid position with an emphasis on innovation and strategic technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and mentor for the Emerging Technologies team of developers and analysts.
• Partner with the Enterprise Architect to define technological strategies, standards, and modernization efforts.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations and applications using technologies such as .NET Core, Python, RESTful APIs, Oracle, and GCP.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot initiatives for next-generation retail technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new frameworks, platforms, and methodologies to future-proof the organization’s technology ecosystem.
• Define best practices for cloud architecture, automation, testing, and API management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals and customer experience improvements.
• Ensure systems and integrations are scalable, secure, and reliable to support ongoing operations.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or solution design role.
• Strong proficiency with .NET Core / C#, Python application development.
• Hands‑on experience with Talend or similar ETL and data integration platforms.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API and Web Services design and development.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives from inception through deployment and support.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and mentorship skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Working knowledge of microservices and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with API management solutions and GraphQL.
• Interest or experience in AI/ML, IoT, edge computing, or retail technology innovations like digital shelves and smart sensors.

Pay

$56.00 – $80.00 /hr
