GBMC HealthCare is seeking an Expense Management Specialist to support hospice financial operations by reviewing monthly expenses, processing invoices, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely payments.

The role ensures billing aligns with hospice clinical services, resolves discrepancies, and maintains accurate financial records. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 2 years in accounts payable or related field experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare or related field.
• 2 years in accounts payable or related field functions.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability.
• Experience with reviewing and processing invoices, expenses, and vendor interactions.
• Understanding of hospice or clinical workflows (preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial tools.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly expenses and analyze expenses.
• Track, create, and process vendor invoices.
• Follow up with vendors and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure invoices align with hospice clinical documentation and contracts.
• Maintain accurate expenses and invoice records.
• Represent GBMC Gilchrist and affiliates professionally in vendor communications.
• Support audit requests and month-end processes.
• Process ancillary claims in EPIC as guided by Revenue Cycle.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain approval of vendor services.
• Other duties as assigned.
