Job summary

Garver is seeking an experienced Business Analytics Manager to lead a team of BI developers and analysts across transportation, aviation, water, buildings, and federal markets. The role combines people leadership, project delivery, technical direction, and business strategy from Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities include shaping data architecture, developing scopes and fee estimates, guiding Power BI reports and dashboards, and ensuring quality and governance while driving growth for Garver's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in business analytics, business intelligence, data management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience, including performance management and staff development.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools such as Tableau and ArcGIS Dashboards, along with SQL-based databases.
• Experience writing project scopes and developing fee estimates and level-of-effort proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics projects from initiation through delivery, including planning, task assignment, budget management, and performance tracking.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of BI developers and analysts, including hiring and career development.
• Develop and drive strategic goals for the analytics practice, aligning services with Garver's growth objectives.
• Provide direction on data management, data architecture, and advanced data modeling.
• Present findings to executive audiences and maintain governance for data quality and refresh strategy.
