Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Cost Controls Analyst to support cost control across renewables projects in Houston. You will partner with project teams, manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts, and drive data-driven decisions for successful project delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in project cost controls, strong Excel, ERP and scheduling tool experience, and excellent communication. Hybrid in-office work; travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• At least five years of project cost controls experience, preferably in renewables.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Coupa) and scheduling tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control activities across development, construction, and operations.
• Maintain budgets, LNTPs, SOVs, PV distribution, and WBS alignment.
• Reconcile actuals, commitments, accruals, and forecast costs for reporting.
• Deliver EVM analyses plus CPI/SPI metrics and trend insights.
• Collaborate with PMs on cost forecasts, changes, and risk assessments.
• Enhance data quality and provide training on project control tools.
