West Star Aviation seeks a Falcon Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to head a team of technicians in East Alton, IL. The role emphasizes timely, high-quality maintenance work with strong problem-solving and project-direction skills.

You will supervise multiple technicians, ensure safe, compliant work, and coordinate with management to meet schedules. The position requires prior aviation maintenance experience, an A&P license, and the ability to lead under FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred.
• 4+ years in program specific airframes.
• Ability to supervise multiple technicians and lead projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead the team to complete jobs and manage day-to-day tasks with input from management.
• Effectively turnover work to the next shift and train/mentor technicians.
• Supervise daily workload and lead multiple projects with strong scheduling.
• Perform general mechanical work on aircraft, systems and related components.
• Ensure tasks comply with FAA guidelines and customer expectations.
