Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to guide a team in maintaining aircraft and related systems. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and ensuring quality through hands-on work and FAA compliance.

You will supervise multiple technicians, manage project work flows, and coordinate with customers on pricing and project scope. A&P license and extensive aviation experience are essential, with strong English communication required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License required.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred; 4+ years in program specific airframes.
• Ability to supervise and mentor technicians; strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete jobs and manage day-to-day tasks.
• Train and mentor technicians and supervise workloads.
• Perform mechanical work on aircraft and assemblies.
• Ensure compliance with FAA guidelines and safety rules.
• Coordinate with customers on project management and pricing.
