Job summary

Thales Group in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a Lead, Line Maintenance Technician for fully onsite work on In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems. You will lead technicians, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and ensure compliance with aviation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with minimum 2 years line maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P certificate or Thales Repairman Certificate; may require upgrade to A&P within 1 year.
• Strong avionics knowledge; read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States; able to obtain SIDA badge and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Act as Shift Lead, directing crew and prioritising workload.
• Train team members and perform maintenance alongside the team.
• Perform maintenance and system modifications on authorized systems.
• Ensure proper aircraft logbook completion and daily reporting.
