Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead Software Engineer AI (Staff Engineer AI) to join the CoCounsel team. You will drive technical direction for AI-enabled Litigation Drafting products, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, production-grade features in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in leadership
• 3+ years building scalable cloud apps and AI-enabled products
• Experience shipping production-grade AI systems to customers

Responsibilities

• Architect AI agentic driven systems and support full-stack team
• Lead technical strategy, testing, and production excellence for AI capabilities
• Define service boundaries and scalable design patterns for the AI platform
• Mentor engineers and ensure quality, security, and observability
