Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead AI Engineer in Atlanta, operating on a Hybrid schedule. You will provide technical guidance to a team of AI engineers, shaping the design, development and deployment of advanced AI solutions in alignment with business goals.

You will report to the Director of Data Science and collaborate with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to ensure scalable, reliable ML systems and impactful AI initiatives across Honeywell's portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years building production ML systems.
• 5+ years with distributed computing and ML frameworks.
• 5+ years cloud experience (Azure/GCP).
• 1+ years leading engineers in product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI engineers and guide project execution.
• Collaborate across Data Science and Data Engineering teams on scalable ML challenges.
• Design and optimize distributed training for model training and inference.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art LLMs and Agentic AI applications.
• Ensure model performance, reliability and production readiness.
