Job summary

Humana seeks a Lead Product Manager to guide AI solutions from prototyping to production within our enterprise AI program. You will partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, and business stakeholders to define success, roadmap, and ROI across the portfolio, delivering value through Humana's governance process.

You will own strategy, cross‑functional leadership, and hands‑on prototyping, while driving adoption and measurable outcomes in a regulated healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product or related experience, including 4+ years in product management, with AI/ML or GenAI products shipped to production.
• Hands‑on building: you use AI tools regularly and can articulate specifically what you would change about a model's behavior and why.
• Evaluation experience: you have built evals with golden sets, ground truth, and offline and live evals using precision/recall metrics.
• Systems thinking: you build infrastructure to prevent whole classes of problems.
• Communication across domains: you translate business cases, ROI models and roadmaps for investment decisions.
• AI knowledge: working understanding of modern AI/ML and GenAI (LLMs, agents, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Strategy and roadmap: define vision, strategy, and roadmap for a complex AI product area.
• Business discovery: map operations end to end and translate into AI use cases with ROI.
• Hands‑on prototyping: build prototypes/demos using AI tools to test feasibility and value.
• Requirements and scoping: create clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Delivery and execution: drive build from prototype to production and manage backlog.
• Governed delivery: navigate Humana's AI governance and document scorecards and stage-gate reviews.
• Cross‑functional leadership: lead engineers, data scientists, designers, and business partners.
