Job summary

Brex is seeking a leader to head Spend Conversion in Seattle, guiding the migration of enterprise vendor spend onto Brex. You will define strategy, engage with Capital One and third-party vendors, and build a cross-functional team to scale impact beyond traditional procurement approaches.

You will design an AI-native program, establish KPIs, collaborate with product, implementation, BD, and sales, and drive measurable results for our largest customers.

Responsibilities

• Build the Spend Conversion function from the ground up, defining the strategy, entry criteria, engagement model, and KPIs for converting non-card vendor spend to Brex.
• Envision a holistic approach involving key parties and operations from Capital One as well as 3rd party vendors.
• Own the end-to-end vendor spend migration motion, from vendor-file analysis and card-acceptance identification through negotiation and card activation.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, implementation, BD, and sales to bring these workflows to market, and to grow our acceptance database through data partnerships, not just outreach.
• Advise enterprise customers directly, unlocking spend with their most strategic vendors and translating their goals into concrete migration and negotiation plans.
• Design a differentiated, AI-native approach to supplier enablement rather than replicating the manual playbook legacy issuers rely on.
• Establish the operational rigor (tracking, reporting, and incentive structures) that makes the function measurable and scalable.
