Job summary

Console is building an AI-native platform for enterprise service management. We are seeking a Principal Product Designer to own end-to-end design for features across discovery, research, wireframes, and UI, collaborating with product and engineering to shape the roadmap.

You will mentor designers, help evolve the design system and principles, and work onsite in San Francisco. A strong IA/UX portfolio and 5+ years in B2B SaaS are required, with a challenger mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B SaaS product design experience.
• High craft with strong information architecture (IA) and UX thinking.
• Experience across the full product lifecycle, from ambiguous requests to shipped design.
• Strong collaboration and communication across functions.
• Challenger mindset that questions assumptions and inspires innovation.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous customer requests into product requirements and designs.
• Drive the full design process across discovery and delivery, including user research, product flows, wireframes, and UI design.
• Design core workflows and interfaces to configure, monitor, and trust AI agents.
• Partner with product and engineering to shape product direction and contribute to roadmap planning.
• Help establish and evolve Console’s design system and design principles.
• Collaborate with and mentor other designers as the team grows.
