Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Product Designer for the Console AI-native platform, shaping end-to-end design across AI agents, workflow automation, and enterprise governance. You will own features from discovery through shipping, collaborating with customers to redefine ITSM in an AI-native lens.

This high-ownership role requires strong craft, product thinking, and leadership to mentor peers, evolve the design system, and influence roadmaps.

Qualifications

5+ years of B2B SaaS product design experience.
Exceptional craft and quality with strong IA/UX thinking evident in portfolio.
Experience across full product lifecycle from ambiguous requests to shipped design.
Strong collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Turn ambiguous customer requests into clear product requirements, then into shippable, high-craft designs
Own the full design process from user research, product flows, and wireframing to UI design for key product areas.
Design the core workflows and interfaces that let teams configure, monitor, and trust AI agents.
Partner with product and engineering to shape product direction and contribute to roadmap planning.
Help establish and evolve Console’s design system and design principles.
Collaborate with and mentor other designers as the team grows.
