Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design memory architectures and data fabrics for multi-agent systems. You will lead a team of AI Architects, shape context systems with RAG and semantic chunking, and guide architecture choices across memory replication, retrieval, and inference pipelines.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Proficiency with AI-native development tools.
• Familiarity with Python, Bash, Go, Rust or Java.
• Understanding of AI native design processes and model fine-tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD, code hosting and collaboration tools.
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI native designed systems.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking against evaluations.
• Develop replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures.
• Drive agent design requirements and implement through AI native design process.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development activities for emerging technology.
• Present at academic conferences and contribute to IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring of Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a group of experts building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
